Bio Reef Photoshoot

You’d have read yesterdays blog, so have a good understanding of the nature and circumstances under which these awesome photos were taken. Six metres down and fifty metres out. A couple of you might need to take a moment for  clarification. We’d completed the arduous but rewarding task of submerging an artificial reef framework, known as a Bio-Rock, and at somewhat of a loose end with more than three quarters of a tank load of air we set about spending the rest of the day enjoying the fruits of our labor. We weren’t surprised that the structure attracted more than just fish…SCUBA divers, snorkelers and free divers, who’d been keeping their distance and watching the decent of the metal mascaronic matter … View More

‘Slidetober’ Photo Booth Session

An entire day of contesting surf, washed down with a ‘Storm’ of beers and rolling seamlessly into the evening entertainment, could only lead to an uncouth ‘Photobooth’ shoot right here in ‘The Temple’ studio. ‘Slidetober’ was almost over and lined up ready to be shot were the drunk and disorderly, sun stroked and soon to be poked, fugly and the cuddly (we’re talking about the men here) and those who just love being flashed in the face, again and again. The proof is in the pudding and here it is…. a ‘lava cake’ of frolicking fun!

The Yak Awardswent down just the other night and with Deus Ex Machina being nominated for a number of top honors.A big mag for a little island. Their chance to say thanks to all and sundry, the Awards have become a fixture, this being the tenth year. Voting online took it out of their hands. Popular choice was well in demand. The gala event was being held at the ‘Tugu Hotel’; Drinks and canapés inside before moving to where the big stage was set out on the beach, the crowd was ripe and ready to rumble… From the moment we all rolled up on our custom bikes, dressed to impress, to the moment we tore though the crowd like King … View More

The good, the bad and the girl. A story on two wheels.

Part of all our events is the photography. Whether it’s for the blog or not, we take photos. It’s what we do, I think you all know that by now. To freeze a moment in time, to capture the people and the place. If we could lock down the smell, taste and sounds we would. So when we host a motorcycle event such as our Deus Motorcycle Show + Swap which was at the Temple last weekend, one of the things we set out to do was capture all the people and their rides. All was going along swimmingly until ‘wind’ stuck her rather large large nose in it and coupled with the wear and tear of motorcycles being rolled … View More
